The groom is a Tamilian and the bride is a Bengali. So they bride is shown wearing a red saree and crown representing their culture. Similarly the Groom is clad in a Dhoti and shirt, a typical Tamil wedding attire. The face features and skin tones were incorporated from the reference pictures. 

Both the bride and groom are differently abled and found love through who found love through a peer support group. The Bride requires wheelchair for mobility and the groom live with a form of dwarfism. So their physical appearances are represented in their personalized cartoon.

This simple yet cheerful "Save the date" card allows people to see the joy and strength of this couple despite their shortcomings.
